You’re invited to Mission Beach, CA this 4th of July, 2008 for the

Supernatural Preach Fest!

This evangelistic event is called SPF 2008, and the vision is “evangelism by all means.”

We want to see the entire strip of beach, bay, and streets filled with thousands of Christians, and groups of Christians preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in different and unique forms and styles.

Mission Beach is known for alcohol, the bar life, immorality, partying, and leisure.

But we have a different vision for Mission Beach.

The vision is to cover the small city of Mission Beach with Christians preaching the gospel. The unique forms of preaching will vary greatly. The epicenter will be at Belmont Park and will spread north and south from there. We want to see Surfers in the water boldly proclaiming the good news; Youth groups doing Bible/gospel themed sand castle contests; Open-air preachers on the boardwalk; Worship teams praising God in the park; Bikers for Christ with JESUS IS LORD banners waving behind them driving down Mission Blvd.; Gospel Clowns and face painting stations on the bay; home groups giving backpacks with food and necessities to the homeless; families handing out free lemonade and Jesus stickers; and a thousand other ideas being used to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mission Beach on the 4th of July has estimated tens of thousands of people celebrating on the beach and bay. These masses are tourists from all over the world and many are San Diego locals.

Each church, or group, or ministry team will bring their own idea, and resources, and come down to Mission Beach between 9AM and 5PM to preach the gospel in their own unique style.

We wanted to personally invite you to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost to set them free on this day that we celebrate our freedom.
